As you can probably tell by now, I'm a sports and entertainment reporter, host, and producer.
My career got started with an internship that changed my mind.
During college, I was CONVINCED that I wanted to work in news. I applied for an internship at NBC Houston and got the position.
On the first day of my internship, determined to take over the news assignment desk, I was told to join the sports department... excuse me?!
I kept a smile on my face and quietly walked to the sports department. I was so bummed. There I met the guys who instantly became my mentors. That same day I did my very first standup, interviewed a few High School football players, and by the end of the day I KNEW that I was meant to do this. 2 months later I interviewed the legendary Kobe Bryant.
A year later, I joined the Houston Dynamo/Major League Soccer. I was the first female reporter/producer for the team and absolutely loved my time there.

After 8 years in soccer, I joined NBC Houston AGAIN but this time it was a full-time role. Talk about full circle!
During my 3 years there, I was a reporter, producer, and fill-in host for a weekly live show. I also did various live shots for the newscast, covering hard news, sports and entertainment headlines.
Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to interview various athletes such as Simone Biles, Carli Lloyd, JJ Watt, David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Hunter Pence and more.
I've also interviewed celebrities such as Will Ferrell, Snoop Dogg, Carmen Electra, Mark Wahlberg, Dennis Quaid, Jake Paul and others.
My goal is to always bring a human aspect to every interview and to keep the audience engaged and... smiling. I also work hard to make sure that the people I'm interviewing trust me.
I also served as in-stadium host for both Major League Soccer and National Women’s Soccer League teams from 2012-2018.

Fun fact about me: I speak Spanish.
I have hosted and produced Spanish shows such as “Dynamo All Access”, which aired on “Telemundo”. This 1 hour show was only in Spanish.
I currently do sideline reporting for Major League Rugby and continue covering entertainment and sports.
But enough about work! When I'm not holding a mic or editing, you can find me enjoying my FAVORITE role to date. Being an Auntie to 3 cute babies. 2 nephews and a niece to be exact. *Insert heart emojis to infinity*
I also love to spend time with my family and pups, and I'm highly involved in the community/charitable programs. One program in particular that I hold close to my heart is Free2Luv. They are a global nonprofit anti-bullying organization which spreads love through the arts and music.
On my off-days you may also find me swimming and quoting movies from time to time (often).
